We have been working with world-class Italian shaper Roberto Ricci for about eight years now and his boards have had enormous success with our customers. Therefore, we are very excited to receive these twin fin Fire-ride windsurfing boards which have been specially built to meet our specific needs here in Lac Bay!
The Bay consists of two areas, a deep part and a shallower area which is about waist-deep, which at times of low tides can be just a few feet deep. For this reason, these boards have been designed in a twin fin configuration, to use smaller fins and still keep their handling, instead of one fin, that has to be twice as big.
I am sure we will provide some great feed-back from our customers to Roberto and hopefully can contribute to future board designs.
